Our Story
Hey, I'm Haseeb. I’ve been cooking since since I was 10, inspired by my mom and the Pakistani food she brought with her from Karachi.
Growing up in New York shaped my understanding of South Asian food beyond what I ate at home. It also highlighted a gap. Restaurant versions were flavorful, but often too heavy for everyday eating. Home cooking wasn’t.
Kachumbar comes from that contrast, shaped by my background leading teams in healthcare technology and time spent working the line at Chipotle to understand high-volume kitchens firsthand.
This is the start of building something new.
